Week 1 : Start Up Template

The template of my choosing was from having a simple idea of having a picture and not being a dark or vague background to it. I chose one with a lighter tone with a nice picture of the mountains has a hint of pink and blue mixture colors. This sets a great tone by representing a calm but simple template of what my personal blog intends for everyone. The nice scenery attracts a better attention with a more positive energy. Other templates have a plain background or a picture that takes the persons view from what the blog is about.

My thought of having a good blog template is simplicity. The picture that displays in the back has soft vibrant colors. This helps it unfocused but you can tell the details of the mountain and sky. There is a sky layer and also a snow layer which completes it. What catches the eye is the glowing orange coming from the sun that smoothly shows on the left hand corner. Comparing this to others where their is a plane for example shows the wing not the full airplane with a full set of sky and sun. This is why I chose this blog template for having the best contrast of simplicity.

I took the initiative by comparing others to this one I chose. Others had darkness , too much color, not professional, and being plain where there is nothing much to see. When someone follows they'll know with a consent by the calming picture and vibrant colors that my page will be a good follow up. This attracts those who are more curious on what can be adding on to my blog page. They can have a curiosity of positive stories just from a picture. This blog template photo describes more than just a picture of art it brings a meaning to the blog.

  1. Hello Jesus!

You explanation as to why you chose the theme you did is interesting! It is definitely calming. I am noticing the trend amongst most other classmates that we are all aiming for our own version of "calm and simplicity." Very interesting to see the various interpretations of this.
