Week 17: Wrapping It Up

Room for Improvement- Social Media World This class taught me a lot over this semester by getting my ideas going for new and upcoming promotions. It helped me start an offer on Facebook and spread it to other social media sites. It was really interesting because I got a customer to actually get the service for that specific offer. He was a customer that had messaged me on Instagram but never got to set a day and time. Then he actually saw my offer on Facebook when it was an actual assignment for this class. I did get creative and it helped me get him to be a paying customer. I was introduced to new ideas and how they are limitless.   Google business has many resources you can use to keep track of work. This course showed me how google analytics works and all the functions it has. This is a great tool for business owners in being able to track down whose viewing, how many people are viewing, and their reactions to your posts. It goes more into depth depending on what you’re look

Week 16

When I had first started I was more into utilizing Instagram business and just sharing it to my Facebook, this would give me content on both ends to share. Now after a few weeks of this class I learned how to use Facebook a lot more into its analytics and also creating events, discount offers, and different types of announcement.   I will undergo more experimental posts and keep getting better at it. There is much to learn and what had also impressed me was newsletter. While having a source of attraction and being able to have them read and look at what you have to announce is incredible. Gives information about the product or service and intrigues the customer.   What you want to do is attract the customer for what you have to offer. If this offer is good enough they’ll come to you and pay for your product or service.   The best thing about this is getting future referrals or more clients. Once customer can mean so much to your business. Make sure to keep up to date with them with s

Week 15 : Post 2

For the Facebook analytics I have chosen Professor Faulks’ Analytics. During 7 days there have been 5 posts created that have gained a lot of views.   There was an increase of about 201 views which helped gained recommendations, page likes, and new followers.   From November 25 th one of the first posts there was an increase in responsiveness from post clicks to comments.   This helped gain 100% actions on page is what intentionally are aiming for. Once there is a post created there has to be a better over view if they have commented, liked, or even shared the post. What can benefit the post from reaching to a wide audience is boosting the post. The demographic has mostly men and women through the ages 25-65. The general outreach has been spread out to 5 cities that is what it mainly targets. Three out of the five get more of an audience due to generic information, such as out post reach. This will boost the post throughout a certain radius targeting people that have interests

Week 15

Google analytics has a lot to explore with many diagrams that can be helpful for business documentation. For me it would be the acquisition and audience. The acquisition part has more focused outlook on ads, word track, traffic coming in, and much more. It’s a process to get started on each part of it and will require you to dig deeper. Utilize each one and watching videos can be a great guide in following up with all of your analytics for ads. Now with google analytics it seems to break down everything for you all you have to do is plug in your information and content. For a beginning business I want to keep track of my demographics and what types of customers are visiting my content. Noticing the behavior of how they are coming in whether new or old can be helpful in determining who we are reaching out to that’s coming in and out.

Week 14 : Advertisement

Image
My objective for each of my advertisements is to show the product on the vehicle with a quality photo. This enhances on what I specialize in and increases the chance of someone messaging for an estimate. I can also describe the jobs as a trend. Mainly offering special discounts and or showing on what new services are offered will attract more business.

Week 13 : Part B

The best advertising for the type of business I’m running would be a discounted price on a service. Also throwing in a special offer for first time customers if they refer a friend get ten to twenty percent of their next wrap job.   Depending on how much business you’re trying to attract I would say possibly twice a week to keep ideas going. Even expanding a big advertisement throughout the whole month will do the trick. Being diverse in trying to reach a certain crowd can help get a substantial amount of new customers your way. In my choice of advertising I would aim for ages 18-40 of both genders. I would expand my advertising for about a 2 weeks budget of $25. Each day would pay $1.78 per day. If I’m consistent every month I’m able to reach an audience of 14,000 plus. However, I would want to keep changing the way I advertise by using special wrap discounts, videos, or creating a special advertisement that has an event   Facebook offer a boost post to get more likes or page

Week 13: Part A

As I’ve researched throughout the course I’ve found that all business has an effective way of advertising. Their websites have great quality pictures and show all of the social media links for example twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. They have also developed a media group that shoots videos and does a lot of video blogging throughout social media. From the link that was posted mbbagency.com they describe how important live videos are on Facebook. They get more attention than just your regular videos that are posted. Yes, every single business I’ve researched has very effective use of their advertising. Usually new promotions of a certain service or an informational video. New products that are coming out such as windshield banners, custom products, wrap gloves, and other wrap tools.   It’s even better when they are wrapping a vehicle and using their products what a better way to display the product they are selling. The ads that are annoying in the wrap industry would b

Week 12 : Post #2

For customer reviews and expanding the outlook of my business I decided to look into Yelp. It is a very well-known place where people like to write reviews and recommend to others. This gives a great incentive for business owners that will help their name become more popular. If word of mouth has worked all these years then yelp can help you refine how you recommended are.   The idea of getting started even with a couple reviews will make it even a big change for my business. I love hearing positivity from customers with that I know there will be lower ratings. I will try my best possible to reach back to them as quickly and professional. I am not a high volume business yet but one day I will be which will gain more yelp reviews. Now that I have something for my customers to rate me on and write a good review I’ll be a good business for new upcoming customers. First impression has to be good to make it last. These reviews are solely for me, my business, and the great service that is

Week 12 : Other Social Media Study

When I think about a great service that has been done I think about surveys or leaving some feedback. Yelp could be great in being able to see what type of star rating you are averaging. It can build up a great portfolio in what others say about your business. They appreciate the quality of the service and pitching the yelp review can boost up confidence in building up a fan base there. If there is a negative post you can be professional and see how you would like to deal with it. From likable social media it shows examples on how to respond promptly and publicly to resolve the matter. Never leave a comment without a response this can cause a conflict in making the customer feel left out or even worse can put a bad name out there. The lesson in all this is making sure you are getting back to the customer and leaving a positive note to assure everything can be worked out in a timely manner. Each of the social media tools mentioned can publish my business as more diverse. By being

Week 11 B Newsletter

What I generated from mailchimp.com was a discount announcement. The services I offer usually have a very nice finish taken from my iPhone 8 Plus. I put 3 of the best roof wraps I have done so my customers can see how well of a job has been done. It’s always great showing the finished image. Also on my short paragraph below I put all my social media links. This announcement is a 15% off any custom wrap work . Since a lot of my customers like the gloss roof thought I’d give them an example. There are various other colors and finish that can be done.   I mainly kept it simple because I want to get an idea on how I can keep improving. I also want to give them a story on how I started all of this and more videos on YouTube for entertainment purposes. Newsletters can show what is new with the business. It can show upcoming services and inform the customer on any new sales. This great way to promote and have a customer who keeps up with all of this. If you can attract one customer the

Week 11 Email Marketing

If I would look into the newsletter process I would add short videos of myself working on vehicles. Once they see I’m showing a small clip they will possibly click and subscribe. This will work since they are more likely to be engaged with the video and will then give it a like or subscribe to the channel. Another idea would be contests and prize giveaways. My business will interact more with the customer by showing them on how they can win free stuff or at least win a discount. First I would put a newsletter that displays 3 categories after a customer has subscribed to all 3 of my social media links. They will be able to choose between certain prizes or even a good discount for a future service. I can create newsletter events with friends that can invite anyone and will do a gathering where I can raffle prizes for a purchase of a ticket.   As everyone is entertained by one another I’ll have a small booth set up with promotional services I have and show a booklet of all services offe

Week 10 Blogger for Business Part 2

To keep my business active I will use Instagram and Facebook for polls. At times customer wants to have an interacting with my business page and what they think is best. I apply this onto my ideas and help me navigate in the right direction. What the customer wants is the best of my interest in analyzing and then looking into where the suggestion fits. I will also throw small promotions for discounts. I strongly agree this will get customer to direct message me and those who I have not yet followed up on will reach back at me once I bring that to their attention. It’s a great way to grab that customer’s attention and will help me sell my service to them. It can be something small such as a fog light tint to a roof wrap. This is the way of my business strategy that will only improve over time. At times it is hard to keep up with my posts since I am in school, working, a father, and owning this side business. I’m very passionate and have many ideas that will help my business grow it

Week 10: Blogging For Business

The main goal is to attract the audience in a blog post to capture feedback personally or mentally. If the Title fits and has resembles upon a moment in their life it attracts and has a personal connection. Everyone has feelings and interests the blog post needs to fit their shoes to see what they have been through or are looking for in life. When someone is motivated they look for signs whether it’s reading a newspaper announcement to reading the Title of a new Movie. Brainstorming is what gets the audience moving and they are able to interact and relate to what their life experiences. Memories are an important fundamental as soon as they search for a blog that has a reflection of the past they’ll be reading until the very end. What happens next is they feel astounded by what was read and will make a post or comment on what they have dealt with to relate and have that personal connection. If the writer presents an example of a life story and asks a question almost like their spe

Week 9: Twitter

Week 9:Twitter Being new to twitter and searching some of my favorite wrap business did not pull up. Then I searched more of the major industries of wrap and then started following every single one. Search words I used; wrapmapper, averydennison, fellers, vinyl wrap. These helped me guide myself to finding the wrap channel and the wrap podcast. Both will give me some latest news. What I found on twitter was that they make lot of informational posts about events and about the industry. The Twitter platform will guide in a different direction into viewing the business better. First list I created called Wrap News for the more reputable wrap business that contains important news. Second is called Wrap Channel / Podcast and these two give out different information on wrap news. They put out a Podcast where everyone can tune in and they have discussion about the industry live and what’s new as well. The Wrap channel part is also another discussion almost like a forum where everyone

Chapter 8 Post #1

Ch. 8 Post 1 . I currently use Facebook and Instagram for my media. I’ve also uploaded 4 videos on YouTube just to give it a try. Instagram I have about 171 followers which are mutual friends, friends of others, and many other new faces. Instagram business tools have been more than effective in gaining a wide range of followers. I’ve also spread the word on my personal page where I have 600 followers and a lot are supporting my business venture. I am following about 50 business not just wrapping companies. Other business I follow are individual wrap installers, tool companies, detailing business, car enthusiasts, and a couple friends. Most of them started giving me a follow and I decided to return the follow. Some are well known companies which I got really excited to see them follow my page and like my posts. I do not post as often as I should which should be every day. I will start editing and getting more content to be able to do so. The reason I’ve slowed down it’s because I’

Chapter 7: Engaging Customers Part 2

Image
Chapter 7 : Engaging Customers The first post was a discounted price on a roof wrap. This gave the incentive for customers to text Rwrap20 to receive twenty dollars of their next roof wrap. I officially got two correspondents that were interested. One of them was new and other customer had messaged me about a roof wrap a couple months back. This attracted my follow ups into setting a day to perform the service . Now with a discount h’ell be able to apply to this specific service requested. Second post engaged customers on whether the preference of chrome or gloss black.  On Facebook the response wasn’t very effective. I can possibly extend the duration of it maybe in the future more will participate. Also since this is a pick and choose I could have shared it on others pages. There is a method to send out invite to even participate on the choice. However, Instagram got a lot of feedback that gloss black won with 13 people choosing it. Chrome got about 6 votes which was still de

Week 7 - Enaging Your Customers - Part 1

Week 7 Part :1 Engaging Your Customers – Facebook Strategy 1.        Wrap Promoter 2.        Ezie Wraps 3.        Premium Auto Styling 4.        Creative Auto Styling 5.        Ck wraps 6.        Kunza Wrap and Tint 7.        Geek Wraps The specific business I have chosen will help me gain lots of knowledge on how I can get ideas and brainstorm to help my business grow in my own way. It’s about learning from the major business with lots of experience and then adding your own mix into it. I will observe what they have to offer the pricing, advertisements, and how they expand. These business are the ones who will compete every single day to get a better out come on how they advertise themselves. I see their posts on the daily on Instagram stories and some on YouTube. As they are learning and growing I would say I’m the student absorbing as they grow and advance with every technique that is used in the business. Facebook has a lot of analytics and precision on ho
Week 6 Alternate Assignment The day I created my Facebook Business page was on February 22, 2018. I currently have 11 followers that have been subscribed. It may not seem much but the content on my Facebook page is connected with Instagram. The feed I put on my Instagram I also share it to this page just to get more content and videos on it.   The main history is my content from Instagram, my cover photo, profile picture, event, and services. Since I’ve started these assignments I’ve been trying to experiment by adding an event and sharing it. I’ve reached four people and zero engagement. For other videos I’ve got one engagement for three posts.   Creating a history is a good start up in getting more ideas that will look better on the page. Chapter gave me the insight in trying new methods in getting people to like my Facebook Page. I started on my Instagram by creating 4 posts that interact more with my fans. I got a direct message saying he is interested in another vinyl banner

Target Market for the Vinyl Wrap Industry The growing industry has captured many audiences from trainers, to car enthusiast’s, and car clubs.   We have a target audience filled with young men that are passionate about learning and even paying professionals to install vinyl onto their vehicles. Their will be customers even wanting to learn how to wrap themselves. This attracts those who like to do it themselves type of person. By doing so gives them a feeling on how vinyl really works and will most likely recommend to others. However, the industry needs to be awakened that we can attract almost any type of car enthusiast that love the idea of personalizing their car in a unique way. Blog Week 5 Post 1

BLOG Week 5 Post 1 For this assignment I just set one with Armstrong Garden Centers and Myrtle Creek Gardens.   Both of these business have a category that is plant related with great products they offer. Armstrong Garden Centers have a more reputable history with 125 years and running. They a target market everywhere around California. The flower fields where part of it which I never knew. How convenient is that. I’ve been there once with my family and all of them enjoyed every minute. We did not make a purchase of their gardening services or plants at that time. That is great attraction for nearby consumers to check it out and even make purchases and feel enlightened. Having hat connection with its customers will bring a great advantage in a pleasant experience on how a flower can mean so much and bring joy to everyone. Armstrong’s website will bring in customers who will be able to get ideas of their website. Once they have a plan they’ll want to watch the tips and DIY v

Blog Week Four Post Two: URL sites

Blog Week Four Post Two ·          Premiumautostyling.com ·          Fellers.com             These two websites have a reputation of having good services and tools. They are informational about every product they are selling. Premium auto styling has starter packs to get started wrapping your roof or even the whole car. They advertise small but effective vinyl over lays this adds a different style to your tail lights. Fellers has news on all the latest tools and what each one is for. The front of the website displays in bold blue letters world’s largest wrap supply company. Their good customer service and easy access to getting the best tools on the market. For premium auto styling I always tend to go more on their YouTube channel were they have daily video blogs on what goes on at the shop. They have lots of promotions on what they are advertising whether it’s give away event or just a new product. By getting myself interested in the video I now have a reason to go on their

Blog Week 4 Post One~

Blog Week 4 Post One http://www.roverp6cars.com/ For this website attention is all over the place. There is a lot in one single page where I keep scrolling and it is almost randomized. The moving letters are a distraction of the whole concept. Navigating is all on the left side with big lettering and a car behind it.   Everything is there it just has not been refined and well organized. This is a car parts website they will know right away what they are trying to provide and sell. Seems like that is the main target instead of capturing a more professional visual of their website.                 The owner will have to change of the font on every single box. There can also be a main task bar where they can click and or search for specific services. They can have a break down if they have service and parts specials. Also sticking with a couple colors to have a more centered direction of what they are portraying instead of all the randomized boxes with different sizes, fonts,
